Abstract
The article presents the main stages of Russian sociology development in the second half of the XIXth — the XXth centuries. The author discusses the key problems faced by Russian sociological science today, and analyses the prospects of its future development. According to his point of view, Russian sociology should be included in the processes of management decisions development. And this is one of the most important priorities. At the same time the role of scientific and analytical expertise of draft laws should be enhanced
