Abstract

An idea of re-discovery of anomie is argued for basing on an assumption, that modern world is changing its contents and character under impact of growing mobility and complex social & cultural dynamics and a complex society in the making. According to the views of the American sociologist G. Ritzer, the globalization of “nothing” contributes to assertion of an end of normative definiteness. There reviled concrete displacement of anomie in the form of non-places, non-people, non-things and non-food, non-service, non-knowledge, and non-events, which is reflected in the absence of their social and cultural identity. In the modern global world there are forces that support the vitality of “néchto” in the form of a variety of social and cultural forms. As a rule, these forms are preserved through the process of glocalization. To analyze them, an integral theoretic methodological set is demanded, which is based on a synthesis of different paradigms.
